Relevant du Vice-président principal, opérations, le Gestionnaire principal, optimisation des services (Senior Manager, Business Optimization) appuie les équipes de développement des affaires et d’opération pour l’optimisation de contrats existants et la préparation de réponses aux appels d'offres. Il fournit une expertise opérationnelle et stratégique en matière de gestion des installations. À partir des besoins exprimés par les clients ou les documents d’appel d’offres, il développe des solutions adaptées et optimales pour fournir tous les services requis incluant l’équipe requise sur site, les services à livrer avec des sous-traitants, les provisions pour les pièces et les réparations et la gestion des actifs. Il doit également estimer les coûts de la solution et identifier les risques opérationnels tout en trouvant une solution compétitive. Il assure la liaison avec l'équipe d’opération afin de convenir de la meilleure approche pour une stratégie optimisée.
Description
Responsabilités pour répondre aux appels d’offres (60% de la tâche) :
- Examiner les documents d’appel d’offres et l‘information technique reçue afin de comprendre les exigences opérationnelles, les niveaux de services exigés et la portée des travaux.
- Préparer une liste de questions à envoyer au donneur d’ordre.
- Identifier et adresser rapidement les items significatifs de coût pour assurer une prise en charge rapide dans le processus visant le montage d’une offre commerciale concurrentielle.
- En collaboration avec l’équipe de développement commercial, établir un échéancier de travail pour réaliser toutes les tâches avant la date de soumission incluant :
- Transfert des requis aux services internes pour obtenir leur prix;
- Organisation des formulaires de soumissions et liens avec nos outils d’estimation;
- Consultations des sous-traitants et communication des besoins à combler
- Rencontres de travail avec l’équipe d’opération pour réviser la solution et les coûts;
- Adapté au besoin le fichier de travail pour estimer les coûts des services d’exploitation, d’entretien, de réparation et de maintien d’actifs de bâtiments ou d’infrastructures techniques et énergétiques. Les bases de travail seront:
- Outil d’estimation développée par le détenteur du poste;
- Fichier budgétaire fourni par les finances;
- Statistiques internes du groupe (Europe et Canada) de contrats existants;
- RS Means.
- En collaboration avec les opérations :
- Déterminer la structure et les qualifications de l’équipe requise sur le site;
- Identifier les services qui seront rendus par des sous-traitants et déterminer la stratégie pour obtenir des prix;
- Identifier les services qui seront rendus par l’équipe du -siège social et informer les parties prenantes pour obtenir des prix.
- Prendre connaissance des réponses obtenues du donneur d’ordre.
- Estimer les coûts de main d’œuvre.
- Combiner dans le fichier d’estimation les coûts obtenus des services internes et des sous-traitants.
- Calibrer l’estimation en collaboration avec l’équipe d’opération en vue d'obtenir des solutions innovantes et un budget optimal.
- Partager avec l’équipe de développement commercial le résultat de l’estimation.
- Participer aux revues de soumission pour l’approbation interne.
Responsabilités pour le soutien aux opérations (20% de la tâche):
- Participer à l’analyse de contrats existants et établir des stratégies d’optimisation.
- Gérer des projets d’optimisation touchant l’ensemble des contrats.
- Assister le Vice-président principal, opérations à la revue des budgets annuels et du suivi mensuel des résultats
- Remplacer pour de courtes périodes des membres de l’équipe d’opération
Responsabilités pour le démarrage de projets gagnés (20% de la tâche):
- Assurer le transfert de connaissances et de l’approche imaginée à l’équipe de prise en charge;
- Transférer le budget d’estimation aux opérations et à l’équipe finance;
- Faire le lien entre l’équipe de prise en charge et les sous-traitants utilisés lors de la soumission;
- Répondre aux questions au besoin.

Exigences
- Être autorisé à travailler au Canada;
- Être apte à passer le niveau de sécurité requis;
- Diplôme en administration, gestion de projets, ingénierie, ou domaine connexe;
- 5 à 7 ans d'expérience en gestion d'appels d'offres, estimation des coûts, ou optimisation de contrats;
- Compétences en gestion budgétaire et estimation (ex. : RS Means);
- Connaissance des documents techniques et des processus d'appels d'offres;
- Certification PMP ou autre en gestion de projets (atout);

Le Superviseur des technologies de l’information (Superviseur TI) joue un rôle clé dans la réduction de l’écart entre les équipes d’affaires et les services TI. En tant que principal point de contact entre les parties prenantes internes, les services partagés centraux et les équipes TI locales, le superviseur TI s’assure que les besoins d’affaires sont bien compris et traduits en solutions TI concrètes. Il supervise la gestion des applications, veille au respect des ententes de niveaux de service (SLA), dirige les équipes de soutien TI de niveau 1 et 2, et garantit que les projets TI sont livrés dans les délais impartis et selon le budget.

- Optimisation des Processus : Participer à l'amélioration continue des processus TI en analysant la performance, en identifiant des pistes d’amélioration et en mettant en œuvre des plans d'action.
- Flexibilité pour les déplacements : Visiter différents sites clients ou internes au Canada et aux États-Unis, au besoin, pour assurer une prestation de services TI efficace et renforcer la relation avec les équipes d’affaires.

Senior Notice Processing Clerk
Equans is looking for a Senior Notice Processing Clerk to join our team in Grimsby. This is a full time, permanent role. On offer is a salary between £26,000- £27,252 depending on skills and experience, and benefits package.
What will you deliver?
- To have responsibility for managing the daily notice processing and administration workload, prioritise and delegate accordingly.
- Ensuring that the team works efficiently, by supporting our partner North East Lincolnshire Council to progress cases to full debt recovery through enforcement agents, meeting all legislative and local deadlines.
- Assist the Parking Manager in maintaining and developing policies and procedures relating to the processing of permits and PCN’s including the implementation, monitoring and review of administrative and information systems.
- To be able to interpret legislation, the appeals framework and associated Notice Processing Policy and be able to decide if the appeal is accepted or rejected and effectively communicate this information to members of the public.
- Prepare the monthly f financial and statistical information were necessary for all NELC and EQUANS managed budgets.
- Provide recommendations to the Parking Manager regarding improvements to the service and the efficient working of the Partnership.
- Attend meetings and keep regular contact with key external and internal stakeholders
- Responsible for ensuring Freedom of Information Requests are completed within the required timeframe.
- Take the lead with complex or difficult written and verbal enquiries on all aspects relating to Civil Parking Enforcement.

Helpdesk Coordinator
EQUANS is looking for a Helpdesk Coordinator to join our team based in Stoke-on-Trent on a permanent basis. This is a full time role working 40 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.

The Regional Operations Centre (ROC) in Stoke provides helpdesk and business support services to a wide range of facilities management contracts. The Helpdesk Co-ordinator is expected to deliver excellent customer service, handling enquiries via phone, email and self-service channels. You will respond to, plan and organise the full life cycle of all facilities management work from customer enquiry to job completion, utilising the CAFM system (Maximo). This will include planning and dispatching both Reactive and Planned Maintenance works to a number of engineers, sub-contractors and site managers across various locations, ensuring all are completed within contractually defined Service Level Agreements and providing administrative support where appropriate. You will work closely with the team but be expected to demonstrate the ability to work on your own initiative.
What will you deliver?

- Provide a friendly and professional point of contact for customers for any queries or concerns.
- Interpret and log work order requests, inputting details into an in-house system, providing and tracking regular updates to the status of the request through to work complete status in line with Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Liaise with wider team members to ensure the best resolution, consistent with the contract.
- Completing all administration tasks that relate to the contact, including assigning contract colleagues and sub-contractors to work orders, purchasing and finance tasks.
- Liaise with relevant Contract staff and subcontractors in relation to all aspects of service requests and that ensure required information is returned in a timely manner. Respond to queries, amend data and re-issue tasks as required.
- Carry out monitoring of CAFM (Maximo) data to ensure that Helpdesk work orders have been accurately created, assigned, prioritised and categorised in line with contractual KPI's and SLA's.
- Support the planned maintenance programme by scheduling activities for engineers, sub-contractors and site managers.
- Comply with company procedures to ensure that all risks relating to safety, health, environment and quality are effectively managed through the use of risk assessments, PPE, training and company procedures to ensure a safe working environment.

Technical Compliance and Operations Support Manager

Role summary
The role will involve reporting to the Business Director of Embedded Energy, the Compliance and Operations Support Manager shall provide Operations, Maintenance and Technical Compliance support and advice to the Embedded Energy Sites and regional support teams, to achieve business requirements. The principal objectives of the role are to create and deliver the Operations and Maintenance (O&M) discipline and strategic direction in line with business plan targets, compliance, health, environment, safety and quality best practice and standards, within resource and financial guidelines.
Key activities
- Delivery of EBIT and long-term profitability across existing operations
- Support growth opportunities across the Embedded Energy portfolio
- Coordinate mobilisation and stabilisation of new business / contracts
- Develop and implement SHEQ and O&M policies and procedures
- Ensure high standards of compliance and a positive business and behavioural culture within the Operational Teams
- Deputise for Business Director during periods of absence
- Help deliver best in class O&M across all contracts
- Responsible for the compliance of O&M activities and validation of all staff competencies and authorisations across all allocated Sites
- Provide excellent customer-centric service
- Have direct operational management responsibility for specified / allocated Sites within the Region.
- Lead, manage and mentor all staff within allocated teams, ensuring good standards of training and development that maintain skills and competencies
- Jointly manage P&L of allocated contracts with the Finance Business Partner and Contract Managers to achieve in excess of 6% COP
- Assist the Embedded Energy – Growth Director to identify and grow new business opportunities with existing and new customers
- Support the implementation of agreed projects within the region and / or on allocated Contracts / Sites
- Provide technical compliance support and guidance for Site based Operational teams to effectively manage records and work, within agreed processes, systems and standards
- Provide Site teams with direction to ensure Contract data and reports are compiled to the required standard, are retained and managed in a suitable electronic document management system or equivalent
- Develops, maintains and makes available a range of Contract specific, or Regional status reports

- Engineering qualification - degree or equivalent

Senior Planner
Equans Data Centers are seeking to appoint a Senior Planner to be based on a project site in Newport to assist the delivery of our projects. The Senior Planner will provide a professional planning service in every stage of the project lifecycle from tender, through to design, construction and commissioning. The Senior Planner will ensure all activities are captured, whilst playing a key role within project teams.
Equans Data Centers deliver fully integrated engineering solutions for technically detailed projects in the Data Center industry. The Senior Planner will provide professional planning services for project delivery and will have the scope to work on projects of different sizes in these sectors.
What you will deliver?
- Provide planning services as a key part of the project team ensuring the teams are delivering on project time objectives.
- Understand for each project the level of planning service and anticipated time allocation to provide that service.
- Identifying, communicating and managing project risks. Collaborating with the team to solve any issues or problems.
- Build strong internal and external relationship with the Planning department and broader project and client teams.
- Communicating with other disciplines within production teams to ensure they are aware of their roles in meeting the programme.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and planning standards.
- Providing detailed an accurate regular progress reporting to the project team and client as required.
- Summarise projects status upstream to senior management, highlighting any unresolved major risks and potential overruns.
- Manage time and workload to ensure deadlines are met. Highlight any potential work overload/slackening to Line Manager as soon as it is apparent.
- Review processes to enhance planning best practice that can aid and improve performance and consistency, across the project teams and wider planning community.
- Lead programme meetings and react quickly to any client-led changes, ensuring that there are auditable trails.

Senior M&E Engineer
Equans is looking for a Senior M&E Engineer (Mechanically Biased) to join our team at Barnet General Hospital on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week, based on a shift pattern of 6am to 3pm and 9am to 6pm rotating weekly. There is also an on-call rota which will include working on the Saturday and Sunday. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.
The role of Senior Engineer is part of the Contract Management team and as such you will be expected to be responsible to support the Management team in ensuring that the M&E/Fabric team delivers the contracted service to the highest quality whilst being committed to safety and following all company protocols.
What will you deliver?
- Undertaking Responsible Person/Authorised Person duties required by the provision of the contract for the disciplines for which you have been appointed. To act as a role model for the operation of the Safe Systems of Work. To participate in the on call rota. To undertake training as required
- Manage approved contractors as required; to ensure that all work undertaken is covered by a suitable and sufficient RA/MS in compliance with the Safe System of Work; and to monitor all activities as delegated to ensure that they are completed in full and to the agreed standard
- Take an active role in the AP/RP/CP matrix by taking on required discipline/s.
- Assume responsibility for overseeing the M&E team at an engineering level, identifying areas for improvement and escalating any issues identified to line Manager/Management for resolve

M&E Technician
Equans is looking for two M&E Technicians, one Electrical Biased and the other Mechanically Biased to join our team at Barnet General Hospital on a permanent basis. This a leading role requiring a thorough understanding of engineering building services installation and maintenance techniques. To apply trade skills and experience to ensure the satisfactory completion of allocated maintenance, breakdown repairs, installation, new and refurbishment works.
What will you deliver?
- Take responsibility for all works issued and to ensure that all attendance and rectification times are achieved. Where not possible, to escalate to line Manager in good time in order that appropriate action can be taken to mitigate financial penalty risk
- Ensure that all works assigned are managed so far as attendance and completion times, and that works orders are completed and update to the CAFM system (Maximo). Reports should be concise and include all relevant information to ensure that the workflow process is seamless
- Responsible for the safe operation, planned and reactive maintenance of mechanical/electrical systems, associated plant/equipment installed throughout the Site
- Maintain and carry out repairs on HVAC systems, gas appliances, Piped Medical Gas systems, steam plant/equipment and all other equipment in plant rooms, patient areas and other departments
- Works will involve working in a live Hospital environment, working at height (Podiums), using hand tools, power tools and workshop machinery/equipment for larger repairs (Doors etc). All PPE and training as appropriate will be provided
