Project Co-ordinator - 12 month FTC

Equans is looking for a Project Co-ordinator to join our projects team working on our HMCTS contract at our office in Coleshill on a 12 month fixed-term contract. This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week working from 09:00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday with a 30 minute unpaid break. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.

General Overview:  To work as part of the Projects Admin Team, supporting Project Managers, Head of Projects, Commercial Team and PMO Team
The candidate must demonstrate excellent communication techniques, confidence and patience and be able to work effectively in a high-pressure environment.

What will you deliver?

  • Management of Project back-office process.
  • Maximo – Raising Service Requests, Submitting Quotes, Notifications
  • E-Proc – Raising of Purchase Orders, Receipting of Supplier Invoices in line with the company T&Cs
  • DocuSign – Submitting contracts to contractors
  • Security – Requesting OOH and site visits for contractors
  • Running of reports
  • Portal – Updating for all of the above  
  • Liaise with the Managers / PMs / QSs via Teams / Email
  • To provide cover for colleagues during sickness, annual leave

Who are we looking for?

  • Experience in delivering high quality administrative and/or project co-ordination services within an FM/construction, consultancy, project management and/or contracting environment in a well organised, disciplined and controlled fashion
  • Experience with tracking financial progress on projects and dealing with supplier/contractor payments and client invoicing
  • Financially aware, good with figures, developing commercial awareness
  • Developed knowledge of Microsoft packages and SharePoint
  • Previous experience using SAP, COUPA, Maximo, CAFM would be beneficial, however job specific training can be provided 
  • Excellent communication skills both written & oral 
  • Ability to plan and prioritise work
  • Able to work on own initiative
  • Experience of using SAP & E-Proc finance and purchasing systems is desirable, however job specific training can be provided
  • Please note a Standard DBS is required to be passed for this role

Commercial Manager

Equans is looking for a Commercial Manager to join the team on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary, company vehicle or allowance, bonus and benefits package.

The role offers hybrid working. The post holder will covers contracts in Bristol, Oxford, Worcester and Dudley.

The Commercial Manager will lead the commercial delivery across a portfolio of PFI contracts, working closely with the Sector Director. They will provide contract commercial management and profit improvement, risk and opportunity management along with focus on compliance.

The Commercial Manager will manage numerous stakeholder relationships, including external relationships with clients, suppliers and internal BU leadership and functions.

The Commercial Manager will lead commercial management resources to ensure effective and pro-active commercial management of the allocated contracts.

Holding collective responsibility with Account senior management team to improve operations and deliver against financial plans.

What will you deliver?

  • Analysing and managing risk including assessing the revenue opportunity vs. cost and risk
  • Managing and securing internal approvals for new bid opportunities
  • Managing the commercial viability of variations
  • Leading negotiations encompassing multiple disciplines including supplier negotiations and flow-downs
  • Supporting the management of PFI Lifecycle funds 
  • Producing reports and summaries (ad hoc and regular) which articulate key matters for a senior and/or non-commercial audience
  • Experienced in defining, driving and overseeing commercial & contract governance
  • Leading governance within the contracts to ensure that the requirements of the contract are being complied with
  • Aiding the quality of service by ensuring awareness of contractual responsibilities among all other Equans colleagues (including contract deliverables, scope of services etc)
  • Enforcing commercial compliance (by audit and support against Equans Minimum Commercial Standards)
  • Being professional and equitable negotiators and dispute resolvers but ultimately
    • Rebutting unfounded contractual claims
    • Taking a key role in the management of contractual claims / disputes with clients and other third-parties
    • Production of claims to any potential contentious contractual issue that may arise
  • Ensure full commercial governance to all subcontractors/suppliers
  • Provide day to day commercial support to the varying Suite of Contracts and their respective management teams
  • Ensure all functions comply with regard SFM Governance process within the contracts and DLAs (Delegated level of Authority)

Who are we looking for?

  • Who leads on the DWP National agreement? 
  • Educated to degree/ diploma level in either Law, Business, Surveying (Building/Quantity), or the Built Environment (FM, Land)

Equans is looking for a Part time Cleaner to join our team in Wigan Police Station, WN5 0UP on a permanent basis, This is a part time role working 20 hours per week. On offer is a salary of £14,026.46 per annum and benefits package.

Health & Safety Lead

Equans is looking for a Health & Safety Lead to join the team in London on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary, company vehicle or allowance, bonus and benefits package.
 
The post holder will provide strategic guidance and leadership to ensure that the Sustainable FM meets its statutory safety requirements and to develop and implement industry leading responsible business initiatives.

This role will identify and deliver solutions to improve operational safety, health, environment & quality (SHEQ) in contracts in the part of Sustainable FM that they are assigned to. Working closely, and in partnership, with the operational teams and the SHEQ Projects and the SHEQ Solutions team. This role will ensure the EQUANS objectives & SHEQ culture are embedded within sites and contracts.

What will you deliver?

  • Management of the SHEQ Team across the Operational area to ensure all work is undertaken to external and internal standards and guidelines
  • Work with the Health and Safety Director, SHEQ Solutions, SHEQ Projects and Central SHEQ to develop and maintain adequate systems to meet all statutory and EQUANS obligations
  • Ensure all reportable data (Near Misses, Accidents, RIDDORs, HiPos, LTI’s, Incidents, LSV/MSV, is recorded accurately on the contract – utilising SHEQ Team members to verify data accuracy and coach sites where required
  • Establish SHEQ Action Plans for each contract with the support of the SHEQ Projects and SHEQ Solutions team – these outputs will deliver safer workplaces, improved employee engagement, culture and support our work-winning activity as models of best practice
  • Act on the findings of SHEQ Audits – providing feedback on trends and investigation of preventative measures
  • Develop and engage with the Safety Ambassador programme
  • Lead by example in following the company’s Fundamentals and business objectives
  • Utilise Sustainable FM resources (such as training trackers) to ensure that all colleagues within the area have the appropriate H&S & Quality training, qualifications and development
  • Lead key investigations and liaise with stakeholders, ensuring detailed investigations are undertaken and full reports/ recommendations are provided to the divisional boards
  • Hold close out meetings where applicable, to ensure incidents/ investigations are fully closed and firm action plans with recommendations are presented to the Accident Incident Review boards to prevent further occurrences across the division and UKBU
  • Support other internal functions to ensure systems and resources are appropriate to manage the risks across the area
  • Align contracts to the Divisional Reporting tools (where possible) to release Operational SHEQ Resource
  • Form strategic relationships with the HSE/EHO’s and other appropriate industry forums
  • Support key bids, attend tender interviews, lead competitive dialogue in the bid process to demonstrate that H&S is top the agenda
  • Effective management of direct reports
  • Working as a team with other Sr Managers in Sustainable FM & SHEQ, functions and operations to ensure a positive Health & Safety culture, compliance and management system across the area BU
  • Provide innovation and market leading solutions, delivering continuous improvement and data led focus on safety and business improvement

CAFM Director

Equans is looking for a CAFM Director to join the team on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary, company vehicle or allowance, bonus and benefits package.

The UKMBU operates across 3 distinct divisions utilising 4 separate CAFM systems (MRI, Planon and two versions of IBMs Maximo). In 2025 the CAFM portfolio was reviewed and, through a market testing exercise a Salesforce CAFM has been selected for all the UK services activities across all Divisions. Between 2026 and 2028 we are progressing a One CAFM programme in parallel to a One ERP programme.

Having selected Salesforce as our proposed system for One CAFM going forward. In 2026 we are embarking on the design and gap analysis phase moving into build in the latter part of 2026 and throughout 2027. It is expected that the first contracts will move in late 2027 and then the final transition will be completed in 2028. The programme will represent the biggest transformation programme the UK will ever undergo. All our operating processes will be reviewed and where necessary, re-written. The objective of the project is to move to a single way of working on a single platform that our operational team will use for all processes (whether that be work order management, procurement, quotations or invoicing); the intent is that everything will be done from the CAFM. The system is also intended to provide users with the ability to customise their own local operating procedures and workflows to ensure that our customers continue to experience a bespoke service tailored to their requirements.

The programme is now looking for operationally experienced individuals to join the team which will be responsible for moving Equans to a more agile and streamline way of working.

  • Lead the team on the design, build, implementation through to steady state of our new CAFM
  • Deliver the new CAFM on time and on budget
  • Oversee the transformation of the operational CAFM activities such as workflow management, field services, order to cash, supply chain and customer integration and data and reporting
  • Bring together various stakeholders on the One CAFM journey
  • Champion change and training requirements
  • Build on the outline business case, finishing the gap analysis activity in 2026 to develop the final business case for One CAFM in 2026
  • Work closely with the UK Transformation team together with the other Transformation projects
  • Transform the digitalisation of our services for our customers
  • Identify and implement process improvements that enable a leaner or agile way of working

Hygiene Services Assistant

Equans is looking for a Hygiene Services Assistant to join our team in Westminster, London on a permanent basis, This is a full time role working 20 hours per week. On offer is a salary of £14,026.47 per annum and benefits package.

Shift Pattern:  

Monday to Friday

18:00pm to 22.00pm

What will you deliver?

In this role, you will help maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic environment across office and shared spaces. This includes cleaning workstations, meeting rooms, kitchens, toilets, reception areas, and flooring surfaces to a high standard.

This role plays an important part in ensuring a comfortable and safe environment for all building users.

Please note: This role is subject to security clearance (BPSS), which typically requires 5 years’ UK residency and valid right-to-work documentation.

Helpdesk & Contract Administrator - *FULL-TIME ON SITE*

Equans is looking for a Helpdesk & Contract Administrator to join our team on our Birmingham schools contract at Coleshill, Birmingham, B46 1JU  on a permanent basis. This is a full-time position working 37.5 hours per week on a shift pattern of 7.5 hours per day between the hours of 07:00 and 19:00, Monday to Friday with a 30 minute unpaid break. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.  Please note this role is based FULL-TIME ON SITE.

ANNUAL SALARY: £28-3Ok, dependent on experience

General Overview

The role operates across the Birmingham Schools Contracts, covering multiple school sites and a range of community properties that deliver healthcare services. Equans works in close partnership with the Schools to ensure all locations are well‑maintained, compliant, and able to support high‑quality service delivery.

What will you deliver?

  • Management of job flow to include receipt of calls, logging, assignment to relevant engineer or sub-contractor, scheduling and chasing of attendance and review and closure of all jobs.
  • Actively manage job flow by reviewing open work and chasing the relevant party for updates to ensure completion within the required SLA.
  • Allocate jobs appropriately in order to avoid SLA failures and to actively jeopardy manage all jobs.
  • First point of contact for incoming telephone calls and service requests received by telephone and e-mail.
  • Interpret and log work order requests, inputting details into an CAFM system.
  • Understand, identify and apply the SLA for each service request and set expectation with customer, prioritising jobs appropriately.
  • Deliver a proactive and customer-focused approach to service: Actively anticipate client needs and provide timely, courteous responses to all queries and requests, ensuring all issues are addressed efficiently and in accordance with service-level standards. Foster positive relationships with site users by consistently delivering helpful advice, clear communication, and updates on progress, aiming to enhance customer satisfaction and resolution outcomes.

1ste Monteur Elektrotechniek, Zwolle

Dit ga je doen

Als 1ste monteur elektrotechniek ben jij het aanspreekpunt voor het zelfstandig uitvoeren van allerlei onderhouds- en reparatiewerkzaamheden aan elektrotechnische installaties. Soms werk je alleen, soms samen met collega’s, maar altijd zorg je ervoor dat alles technisch goed en veilig verloopt. Je bent veelzijdig, hebt een echte passie voor techniek en veiligheid, en bent een belangrijke kracht binnen het onderhoudsteam. Daarnaast help je mee om de afdeling steeds beter en efficiënter te maken.

Je taken bestaan onder andere uit het onderhouden, inspecteren en repareren van zowel eenvoudige als complexe elektrotechnische systemen. Je zorgt ervoor dat de installaties blijven werken zoals ze moeten en voldoen aan alle veiligheidsregels en wetten. Ook onderhoud je een goede relatie met klanten, waarbij je hen zoveel mogelijk ontzorgt en ervoor zorgt dat ze tevreden zijn over onze dienstverlening. Daarnaast zorg je dat alle werkzaamheden netjes worden vastgelegd, zodat alles goed te volgen is. Tot slot check je of nieuwe en bestaande installaties altijd voldoen aan de laatste kwaliteits- en veiligheidseisen. Zo lever jij elke dag een belangrijke bijdrage aan betrouwbare en veilige techniek voor onze klanten.

Verder bestaan je werkzaamheden uit het:

  • Signaleren en oplossen van storingen om de continuïteit van installaties te waarborgen
  • Assisteren bij de uitvoering van upgrades en aanpassingen aan bestaande installaties
  • Uitvoeren van preventief onderhoud volgens vastgestelde schema’s
  • Meedenken en adviseren over technische verbeteringen en efficiëntie binnen het onderhoud
  • Zorgen voor een veilige werkomgeving door het naleven van alle veiligheidsvoorschriften en procedures
