Poste à temps plein pour un candidat avec classement  MMF 4B ou plus au sein de notre équipe dédiée à l’entretien technique d'un bâtiment fédéral à Gatineau.

Description

Le titulaire du poste MMF 4B, ou plus, assure le diagnostic, l’exploitation, l’entretien et la maintenance des systèmes mécaniques, électriques, de plomberie et de contrôle des bâtiments. Il effectue des rondes quotidiennes, diagnostique les défaillances, réalise les travaux correctifs et utilise la GMAO pour assurer un suivi rigoureux. Il supervise les sous‑traitants, répond aux demandes de service et participe aux interventions d’urgence en tout temps.

Responsable du confort des occupants, il ajuste les systèmes BAS, entretient et calibre les composantes de contrôle, et contribue à l’optimisation énergétique du complexe. Il collabore avec les différents intervenants du site, maintien des salles techniques propres et participe aux projets spéciaux. Le rôle exige polyvalence, autonomie, sens du service à la clientèle et disponibilité pour les remplacements et périodes de garde. Polyvalent et autonome, il accomplit toute tâche connexe demandée par son supérieur afin d’assurer le bon fonctionnement des installations.

Exigences

  • Être autorisé·e à travailler au Canada;
  • Apte à se qualifier à une enquête de sécurité au niveau requis;
  • D.E.P en mécanique de machines fixes;
  • Certificat de mécanicien de machines fixes classe 4 en chauffage, classe B en réfrigération OU classe 3 en chauffage, classe B en réfrigération;
  • Cinq (5) ans d’expérience dans la mécanique du bâtiment;
  • Bonne connaissance de la régulation pneumatique et numérique;
  • Connaissance en électricité (moyenne et basse tension);
  • Connaissance en mécanique, plomberie, soudure électrique et au gaz;
  • Apte à se qualifier à un examen de connaissances techniques;
  • Habilité à travailler avec un système de GMAO;
  • Habilité à travailler avec la suite Office;
  • Connaissances des systèmes hydrauliques;
  • Connaissance de base en automatisation contrôle;
  • Connaissance de base en logique électrique.

Sous l'autorité du superviseur, la personne titulaire du poste est responsable de tous travaux ayant trait à l’électricité en rapport avec le bon fonctionnement de tous les équipements électromécaniques. Elle doit voir au bon déroulement des activités relatives à la maintenance, à l'entretien, la réparation et à la sécurité des édifices sous gestion en ce qui a trait aux installations électriques. 

Description

  • Exécute des travaux d’entretien et de réparation dans les domaines électriques (puissance et contrôle);
  • Répond aux appels de services;
  • Diagnostique les problèmes de fonctionnement électrique des systèmes de chauffage, ventilation et climatisation et apporte des solutions;
  • Participe à la gestion énergétique du bâtiment;
  • Maintient à jour les plans électriques de l’édifice;
  • Gère les inventaires du département électrique;
  • Surveille les travaux électriques lors des nouveaux aménagements;

Exigences

General Overview

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Heating Installer to join our installation teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation of heating systems, including boilers, radiators, pipework, and controls, in domestic or commercial properties. The role involves working to high standards of safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Key Accountabilities

  • Install boilers, radiators, heating controls, hot water cylinders, and associated pipework.
  • Work from drawings and specifications to complete installations efficiently and accurately.
  • Carry out full system conversions, boiler swaps, and upgrades.

Qualifications or Required Experience:  

Essential:

  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing and Heating (or equivalent).
  • Experience installing domestic or commercial heating systems.
  • Strong understanding of heating system layouts, controls, and pipework techniques.
  • Full UK driving licence.

Desirable:

  • Gas Safe registered (or working under a registered engineer) with valid ACS qualifications (e.g., CCN1, CENWAT).
  • Unvented hot water (G3) qualification.
  • Experience with underfloor heating systems.
  • Knowledge of renewable technologies (e.g., air source heat pumps).
  • CSCS card or equivalent health & safety certification.

Part Time Cleaner

Equans is looking for a Part time Cleaner to join our team in Newcastle Combined Law Courts, Quayside, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE1 3LA  on a permanent basis working 21 hours per week. On offer is a salary of £12.40 per hour and benefits package.

Shift Pattern:

This is a Monday to Friday role,

Monday to Tuesday split shift 07:00-10:00 then 16:00-19:00 

Wednesday to Friday am only 07:00-10:00 

What will you deliver?

BPSS Quick Guide

In order to meet our customers requirements, the post holder must go through Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS). This is a form of Security Clearance set out by the Government which goes through several checks.

These checks typically include:

  • Identity Verification: Passport, photo ID, birth certificate, etc.
  • Employment History (past 3 years): Any gaps will require HMRC statements for the period in question.
  • Right to Work Status in the UK: Citizenship or valid share code.
  • Unspent Criminal Record: Disclosure of any unspent convictions.
  • Significant Periods Abroad: Any periods of 6+ months spent abroad in the past 3 years.

Technical Services Manager (Electrical)

Equans is looking for a Technical Services Manager - Electrical to join our team in Wakefield on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary, bonus and benefits package.

This role will work across 2 large, geographically separated, acute hospital sites, with overall responsibility for the Electrical infrastructure, supplying patient life safety systems, critical care and general power throughout the estates.

The Technical Services Manager (TSM) is a critical member of the contract senior leadership team, responsible for self-delivered and subcontracted mechanical, electrical, and building fabric technical service delivery. 

The role incorporates participation on the 24/7/365 on-call rota as part of the business escalation procedures.

What will you deliver?

  • Manages the site team and provides leadership and guidance to the technical services operatives and supervisors and drives performance improvements.
  • Demonstrates excellent customer skills with an ability to exceed customers’ expectations and maintain an effective relationship / communication strategy for the contract
  • Has detailed knowledge and understanding of the Contract Service Level Agreements (SLAs), opportunities and risks
  • Gain a detailed, ‘hands on’ knowledge of the site and provision of services
  • Ensure that appropriate monitoring of services is in line with Contract requirements and local agreements.
  • Celebrates success and drives continuous improvement with the team, ensuring the local interface between other FM Service Teams, NHS staff, Project Co and Customers at all levels to deliver as one team
  • Organises and manages the daily planned and reactive maintenance tasks using the Maximo CAFM system
  • Controls and manages the ordering and replenishment of critical spares and consumable items required for the day to day delivery of the service.
  • Assists with Minor Works and associated contract revenue streams
  • Oversees and controls the raising of building defect and lifecycle issues to a satisfactory conclusion in conjunction with Project Co (Consort Healthcare)
  • Ensures appropriate competent persons are trained and in place within the contract
  • Actively monitors and controls the safe working practices of internal staff, subcontractors and suppliers
  • Ensures adherence to all Statutory Standards and Regulations and Department of Health requirements (e.g. HTMs).

  • Qualified to HNC/HND level in an engineering discipline, or equivalent, with a proven managerial track record for past 3/5 years.

Maintenance Assistant

Equans is looking for a Maintenance Assistant to join our team based at Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package. 
 

What will you deliver?

  • Undertake improvement work, maintenance and repairs of plant, services and physical assets including testing and routine fault finding
  • PPM Checks to include, tank visual inspections, calorifier visual inspections, temperature checks, shower head, TMV servicing, chemical dosing, and descaling of outlets
  • Interpret and work from all instructions, drawings and specifications appropriate to his/her own trade, without supervision
  • Carry out unsupervised maintenance report any defects or unusual circumstances to the Supervisor/AEM
  • Scope of work will include entering departments containing service users undergoing various treatments/procedures after reporting to departmental staff. Occasional exposure to distressing or emotional circumstances could be encountered
  • Understand the general working of the EQUANS Estate, so that work can be carried out in the most efficient manner, pro-active in developing new ways of working
  • Understand fully the inter-relationship between various maintenance crafts
  • To be contacted by radio and/or PDA to receive instructions. This can involve frequent disruption to work patterns
  • Ensure all PPM and Reactive work is carried out effectively in compliance with maintenance instructions and response and repair times
