Part Time Morning Cleaner

Equans is looking for a Part time Morning Cleaner to join our team in Fleetwood Magistrates Court, Church Street, FY76HJ on a permanent basis working 10 hours per week. On offer is a salary of £12.90 per hour and benefits package.

Shift Pattern:

Monday to Friday  7:30 -09:30 

What will you deliver?

As the on-site Cleaner, you’ll keep the building clean and tidy to the highest standard of hygiene, health and safety whilst maintaining a professional manner with all members of staff and general public. 

For this role you must undergo BPSS level vetting. Part of this includes DBS clearance therefore ability to pass is essential.

In order to meet our customers requirements, the post holder must go through Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS). This is a form of Security Clearance set out by the Government which goes through several checks.

Shift Assistant Estate Manager

Equans is looking for a Shift Assistant Estate Manager to join our team based at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role working 39.375 hours per week. This is based on a shift rota working 2 days on (7am-7pm) then 2 nights on (7pm-7am) then 4 days off. The role is to assist the Technical Services Managers in the provision of Hard FM & Lifecycle Services whilst delivering a high-quality and statutory compliant maintenance service. The role will include assisting in the operation, repair and maintenance of mechanical and electrical engineering services whilst working within a multi-disciplinary hard service team environment. 

We will consider applicants from either an Electrical or a Mechanical background.
 

What will you deliver?

  • Direct management of a team of 7 that includes Electrical, Mechanical and Fabric personnel
  • Work in collaboration with the other AEM’s to provide an efficient and cohesive service across the Estate
  • Manage the day-to-day performance of the relevant Acute Shift team, assisting as required,  including Planned, Corrective and Reactive maintenance tasks
  • Managing, directing, and assisting staff in a safe and efficient manner
  • Deliver training to staff on relevant subjects as appropriate so experience is gained (e.g., toolbox talks & trade specific subject matter)
  • Regularly meet with directly employed staff (collectively irrespective of their trade function and individually) to discuss performance and complete employee appraisals
  • Manage absence and utilization within the team effectively ensuring the rota is covered as necessary

General Overview

The expectation of a Procurement Buyer’s role is for them to be responsible for maximising delivered financial value and enhancing visibility and perception of Procurement within Equans P&C.

Compliance Facilities Manager

Equans is looking for an Compliance Facilities Manager to join our team in Speke on a permanent basis. This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary benefits package.

The role holder will be responsible for ensuring full Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) compliance across eight schools within the Knowsley Schools PFI estate. This includes the review, coordination and validation of all PPM activities delivered by subcontractors and site operatives to maintain 100% compliance with contractual, statutory, and life‑safety obligations.

The postholder will work closely with key subcontractors, the FM Coordinator, and the Technical Services Manager to ensure all remedial actions arising from PPM activities are completed within SLA timescales, maintaining a safe, legally compliant learning environment.

This role will be based from the Equans Speke office with additional travel across the contract for Knowsley Schools.

What will you deliver?

PPM Compliance & Documentation

  • Lead responsibility for ensuring all PPM across the 8‑school estate is completed, recorded, and compliant with contractual and statutory requirements.
  • Review, validate, and challenge PPM documentation and certification submitted by subcontractors and site operatives.
  • Ensure all remedial actions identified during PPM visits are tracked, followed up, and closed out before SLA expiry.
  • Maintain accurate and auditable PPM records, ensuring full traceability of activity for all hard FM services.

Technical Oversight (Life Safety, HVAC & Building Systems)

  • Possess strong technical awareness of life safety systems (fire alarms, emergency lighting, sprinkler systems), mechanical plant, Basic BMS knowledge and HVAC systems.
  • Work collaboratively with specialist subcontractors to ensure systems are functioning to contractual performance standards.

Subcontractor Management & Collaboration

  • Build strong working relationships with all PPM‑related subcontractors to support high-quality delivery and prompt resolution of defects.
  • Monitor performance, challenge non‑compliance, and escalate risks where appropriate.
  • Ensure subcontractors meet CDM, health & safety and contract requirements for all planned works.

Operational Delivery & Coordination

  • Work closely with the FM Coordinator to ensure alignment of PPM scheduling, documentation flow, Work Order updates and SLA tracking.
  • Support the Helpdesk and site teams to ensure all planned, corrective and reactive work is accurately logged and closed out with supporting evidence.
  • Deputise for the Account Manager and Technical Service Manager when required.

Compliance, Safety & Quality

  • Conduct monthly safety visits and record findings in the AIMs system.
  • Complete monthly audits and Annual audits of all legislative and compliance documentation with site teams, escalating concerns to the Technical Services Manager.
  • Ensure all HSEQ risks are appropriately managed through risk assessments, training, PPE and adherence to company procedures.

Financial & Contractual Support

  • Assist the Works Cost Coordinator in ensuring accurate billing and timely processing of completed works.
  • Assist with the building of payment packs for Variations and Reactive works and Reactive Lifecycle when required.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Attend monthly client meetings and quarterly SMT reviews, providing operational and compliance updates at contract level.
  • Maintain strong professional relationships with school representatives, subcontractors, and internal Equans teams

Stage Werkvoorbereiding Elektrotechniek (Industrie)

Opdrachtomschrijving

Als stagiair MBO Elektrotechniek draai je mee binnen een professionele projectorganisatie die actief is in de industriële sector. Je werkt aan uiteenlopende industriële projecten waarin elektrotechnische installaties een belangrijke rol spelen. Denk aan omgevingen waar productie, logistiek, energievoorziening of procesautomatisering centraal staan.

Je wordt onderdeel van het projectteam en loopt mee met een ervaren werkvoorbereider Elektrotechniek. Je leert hoe industriële installaties worden voorbereid, hoe processen samenkomen en hoe verschillende disciplines samenwerken om een project veilig en efficiënt te realiseren.

Wat ga je doen

Je ondersteunt de werkvoorbereider bij diverse werkzaamheden binnen industriële projecten, waaronder:

  • voorbereiden en uitwerken van elektrotechnische werkzaamheden voor industriële installaties
  • controleren en verwerken van technische documenten en industriële tekeningen
  • voorbereiden van materiaalbehoefte en bestellingen voor industriële toepassingen
  • ondersteunen bij planning en afstemming met uitvoering en andere disciplines
  • meekijken en meedenken over technische oplossingen binnen industriële processen
